This is what our little 650 square foot cabin looked like when we purchased it - you can see why we nicknamed it "Barely Plumb". We saw the potential and loved the location - it's actually located in town but feels like the middle of the woods and we have a nice creek literally right outside our door - in the picture you can see the bridge we cross to reach our door.
The transformation is quite amazing! I can hardly believe it's the same cabin - new exterior and total new interior. We also have a new bridge and a wooden walkway to the parking area. This picture was taken before the screen porch was added.
A view from the screen porch into the cabin. Also visible the bridge over our creek and, in the right background, you can see the cedar utility building which Garry renovated into his office/man-cave.

This is the house that inspired our final house plans.
This is the same house from a different angle - the color also looks different and I'm guessing it is because it was taken at a different time of the year and in different light. I fell in love with this style and it was the inspiration for what we are building.

This is the view from the back of the house. We look Northwest - should be some beautiful sunsets.
Different perspective on the footings.
This small rock deck is on the front end of the house and accessible by the pantry and stairs leading to the lower level - it is where I will sit with coffee to greet the morning sun. Thanks to Garry and Tad for building this - it really looks awesome!
